This picture above has been mistaken for the “Star of David” , any movie that you see or what the “Jewish” people wear this star is present.
But is this really, the Star of David? No. This is actually called the “Star of Remphan”
If you look up ” star of remphan” this is one of the many images that will come up,
Acts 7:43
Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.”
Let’s see who this Star of David really,
Numbers 24:17
17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
Isaiah 60:3
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Matthew 2:1-2, 9-10
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
So just from these scriptures alone, the star spoken of is Jesus himself. Both out of the old and new testament. But lets look at another,
Revelation 22:16
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Jesus testifies ha he is the root and offspring of David, let’s see why he said this. What tribe is David from. We are going to walk it all the way back to the beginning.
Ruth 1:2
2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.
Genesis 35:19
19 And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.
So Ephrathites where from Bethlehem- Judah , they were Israelites, Boaz Ruth’s husband came out of the tribe of Judah. Now here is the lineage from Boaz to Jesse to David.
Ruth 4:22
22 And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.
Let’s see if anyone else knew who Jesus was since he called himself the root and the offspring of David.
Matthew 15:22
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
This cannnaite woman, who was not an israelite but a Hamite knew who Jesus was , and even called him the “son of David”
A scripture to show that Jesus came out of Judah, down the lineage of David and the last scripture is prophesy that Jesus would come out of Judah.
Hebrews 7:14
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
The scripture below is prophesying of Jesus. His first coming , his second coming, amd his reign forever.
Genesis 49:8-12
8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.
9 Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
Jesus is the Star of David. Not the picture you see above.
