This won’t be a long blog, just another Scriptures Overlooked. We will see who was written of in the book of Psalm,
( Just a heads up on the set up of the scriptures. I will have scriptures from the book of Psalm then from the New Testament under to testify who it was speaking.)
Psalm 22:1
22Â My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
Matthew 27:46
46Â And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Psalm 69:21
21Â They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

17Â I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18Â They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
Â
Matthew 27:34-35
34Â They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
35Â And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
Psalm 30:2-3
2Â O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3Â O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Psalm 16:10
10Â For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Acts 2:29-31
29Â Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30Â Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31Â He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Psalm 69:7-9
7Â Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
8Â I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.
9Â For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
John 1:11
11Â He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
John 7:5
5Â For neither did his brethren believe in him.

17Â And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
Psalm 110:1
110Â The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Matthew 22:42-44
42Â Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
43Â He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
44Â The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Psalm 110:4
4Â The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews 5:5-6
5Â So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
6Â As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Psalm 132:8-14
8Â Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
9Â Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
10Â For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11Â The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12Â If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13Â For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14Â This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
Luke 1:32-33
32Â He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33Â And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
I want to finish with these two scriptures,
John 5:39
39Â Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Acts 13:33-37
33Â God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
34Â And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
35Â Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
36Â For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
37Â But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
